Ohhh interesting and my girl could come from a not poor family but not rich either and be there on a scholarship or something? She'll be the youngest out of like two or three other siblings And because of this her parents have always been overprotective of her So when she gets the chance she moves from her hometown, idk lets say colorado, and goes to NYU? omg! And what if she's looking for a job and your charrie is the one who does the interviews and that's how they meet?

Although the sun seemed rather bright in the sky, its warm rays were no match for the brisk wind that had set in that morning. The weather seemed to cost people by surprise as most had worn shorts and were walking rather quickly to reach whatever their destinations might be. This seemed to be a constant occurrence throughout the month of September, as during this month the weather couldn't seem to make up its mind between remaining cold or warm. One girl in particular was fairing better then most, yet if she had known what the days temperature would have been like she would have worn something much warmer.
Olivia Deutch had woken up that morning with the cutest outfit in mind, and with out checking the weather had begun to put it together. She wore black tights with a black skirt on top and a plain white top tucked in. Over that she wore what was supposed to be a fairly warm cardigan though in the end it didn't help protect her much against the wind. To tie the whole outfit together she'd worn black ankle boots, and a small brown leather bag acting as a sort of purse. Her plan for the day had been to go to the park, pick a comfortable spot, and spend the day studying for a big test she had in her biology class the next day. Of course the second she stepped out of the door from her small apartment in Manhattan, that plan had changed. Among the others who had also been taken by surprise of the cold wind she walked quickly through the city, in search of a place warm and quiet enough that she could study at instead.
She nearly passed the small coffee shop at first. It was on the corner and she hadn’t even taken notice of it until someone exited from the warm space and it caught her eye. She paused in her walking for a moment before deciding this looked like just the place she was looking for. She opened the door, the small ring of a bell announcing her arrival as she walked in. A guest of wind blew past just at that moment, as if pushing, encouraging her into the small coffee shop. Strands of light blond hair flew forward and across her face, and she had to act quickly to keep her skirt in place before the door shut behind her. She raised her hazel eyes, curiously taking in the cute little booths and breathing in the aroma of fresh coffee beans. She slowly walked up to the counter, meaning to order a coffee before studying, but something else caught her eye first. Conveniently placed on the counter was a “Now Hiring” sign. ”Um hi.. are you guys still hiring?” Liv asked, angling her head up slightly to finally meet the eyes of the boy standing behind the counter.

Manhattan, New York. One of the most populated places in the United States Of America. It was filled with all types of people - from the rich, to the poor. There was one boy, Remington Shaun Kelley, who was fortunate enough to be classified in the rich section. He grew up in the heart of Manhattan, his family owning there own penthouse that was located in one of the best spots in the city. He came from a successful background - his father, his fathers father, and even his fathers father father all being prestigious lawyers who had basically ran the big apple. His father handled all types of cases, and he was known publicly all over. His mother did not hold as high as a status as his father did, but she still made her own. She was a Fashion Designer, who owned her own boutique. Remy himself was the youngest of three children. He had one older brother, Benjamin Kelley who lived with his own wife and two children down in Miami where he started his own construction business. His older sister, Blair Kelley, was attending Cal Berkeley out in California. She was accepted to Berkeley not really because of her good grades, but because of her excellent soccer skills. Remy didn't have such a background. He attending the same high school his brother and father did, but instead of graduating with a 4.2 and going off to some Ivy league school he graduated with barely a 2.5 and was barely accepted in NYU. Which is why he worked full-time in a cute little coffee shop, to support himself because his father no longer wanted to because of the disappointment his youngest child was.
The day was going good for young 19-year old Remy, who didn't mind the steady traffic flowing in and out of Susie's Café. He had walked to work that morning, and he could tell by the weather what kind of day it would be at work. The better the weather outside, the less people that showed up. It was only obvious, who would go take refuge in a tiny café to drink hot drinks when they could spend the day basking in the sun outside. The cooler the weather, the more. Many found refuge in the warm shop, buying slightly over priced coffee just to let the hot liquid warm up their cold bodies. Today was Remy's day to run the cash register, unfortunately. He stood there, taking orders, adding up totals, giving receipts, his mind focused solely on the task placed in his hands. Sometimes, a customer who found him attractive would try to strike up a conversation. He would try to be polite as he could, giving short one-sided answers, hoping they would take the hint that he did not want to talk about anything, but coffee. It happened pretty often, because who didn't find Remy attractive. He had the golden boy looks down to the toe, from his messy blonde locks that fell slightly over his forehead and into his face. His big, charming smile with his straight white teeth and deep dimples. His light blue eyes that were expressive yet held a mysterious edge. He was definitely something to look at.
Remy had just taken his last order of his morning shift, and was getting ready to take his break when a girl's voice broke through cloud of thoughts. He turned back around, searching for body and face that went along with the voice. "Well hello there." His deep voice flowed out smoothly, a small smirk curving at the edges of his lips. He took the girl in with his sky blue optics, she was pretty, someone he could talk to. "Yes, we are still hiring." He ducked his head under the counter, looking for the stack of applications that usually lied there. But they were gone. The smirk that started to form disappeared, and he frowned a little. How was he suppose to find her one? The manager, Ellie, had already gone on her break. Thinking quickly, he met Olivia's eyes and let a genuine smile finally form. "Sorry to say, we're out of applications. But if you want, I can just interview you now and let you know if you got the job by tomorrow." He began to take his apron off, ruffling up his hair. He waited for her to answer, his eyebrow cocking ever so slightly.

I was actually talking about your post lol but I love the song too<3
Olivia couldn’t help the slight widening of her eyes as Remy turned and began talking to her. She hadn’t been expecting, well to put it frankly, someone so hot. She, of course, was also one of those golden children, though her blonde hair was lighter then most, and her eyes were a unique mixture of green and brown. Perhaps some thought of her as ‘pretty,’ or even ‘beautiful,’ but there had always seemed to be a wall between the petite girl and other people. When she happened to have a conversation with a complete stranger typically they were in one of her classes, slightly nerdy, and eager to just study with her or something of the sorts. Those guys, or girls, she could deal with. But this was completely different. This coffee boy was addressing her as if it were no big deal, with his smooth deep voice and charming smile. Liv on the other hand was struggling to keep her breathing even, and could already feel the heat rising to her cheeks, now probably a warm pink. You see most didn’t ever end up realizing it, but Olivia was naturally shy. She spooked easily and blushed quite often, though these traits often remained hidden for the most part thanks to the help of her older siblings and her own methods of cooping. Her two older brothers, Michael and Isaac Deutch had mostly just protected her from ever having to talk too much, and her older sister, Ariella Hanson (now married) had literally spoken enough for the two of them. This is why the first word out of her mouth was a shaky question, ”Interview??”
There was a reason Olivia had nearly spent two months now searching for a job. Her applications were spectacular, and most of the time whoever was hiring her even said as much. But it was always the interview part of the hiring process that blew any of her chances. Any other applicant often seemed better for the job after the interview. At least they would be charming and talkative with the customers. She answered all of the questions awkwardly, or with that same short, one-sentence answers that Remy used to try and stop a conversation. Obviously not the best method when trying to get hired for a job. The worst part was that for those interviews she’d had weeks in advanced to practice what she was going to say, not that it helped much, but now that she only had seconds to prepare, she couldn’t begin to imagine the embarrassment she would bring upon herself. ”Right now? … are you sure? I don’t want to bother you if you were just about to leave.” this idea brought a bit of relief to the blonde haired girl, surly the boy across from her would take the opportunity to go on his break now rather then having to wait until after the interview.
Yet although she hoped that she would be free of the dreaded interview, at least for today, she knew that she couldn’t hold it off for much longer. Going to college out of state was expensive, and after her parents had helped her older siblings pay for their colleges, there just wasn’t much money left to go around. Hence her reason for her wanting to get a job. She needed the money, not just for college, but also for the small little apartment she was renting. She’d already gotten her first letter saying she was late on paying rent, but between textbooks, cab fair (because she didn’t have enough money for her own car of course) food and other essentials, she was running out quickly. If she didn’t get a job soon she might have to open up her apartment to share with other renters, and idea that scared her probably more then it should. Then if that didn’t work she’d have to quit and sadly trudge back home. That just wasn’t an option for Liv though, she was shy, and even a bit helpless, but never a quitter. All of these thoughts passed quickly through her head and before Remy could even answer her, Olivia spoke up again, ”I guess that could work.. if you don’t mind?” she offered him a small, though clearly nervous, smile.

Okay, my posts are going to be shorter now haha xD
Remy watched her curiously, studying each reaction that settled over her face as he proposed the idea of him interviewing her right now. He was slightly amused by her skeptical manner, it was as if she wanted to do it, but then didn't. But was it because of him? He knew he was a .. fairly okay looking boy. And he also knew that sometimes that intimidated girls, and other guys too, occasionally. Usually Remy didn't deal with shy people, they were kind of irritating to him in a way. He just never understood them - why be afraid of meeting new people and trying new things and doing all kinds of crazy stuff? Maybe it was just him, but those kinds of things are what made his life thrilling. Remy was naturally outgoing, adventurous, a born leader. He was never the little boy that was picked last during a basketball ball game, or even a small game like tag. He always just stood out to people, and once someone knew Remy - dare-devil, funny, should-be-male-model Remy, they liked to be around him all of the time. However, this girl didn't irritate him. For one, she was a real blonde. He could tell. For two, her slightly pink cheeks were cute, they made her look innocent and adorable.
Once she finally made up her mind that doing the interview would be good, his smile stretched into a full blown grin. "Alright dear, sounds great. Give me just a sec and ...." He scanned the shop for any type of empty space. He turned his head, and found a booth that was just now being cleared. "Meet me over there." Remy looked back over at her, and pointed out the booth. "I need to clean myself up, fix my hair a little." He added, joking about the last part. Without another word, he turned and headed towards the back. Another boy named Issac too his spot at the register, waiting for Olivia to either order something or move.

On the outside Olivia looked fairly calm. You know, minus the pink cheeks, nervous smiles, and the slight rambling. On the inside however she was worrying. She was probably confusing the poor boy across from her as she kept changing her mind. But his answer seemed to be perfect in that it instantly made her feel better. He didn’t comment on her first, noticeably nervous questions, he just answered her final decision as if it were no big deal. Relaxing a bit, she couldn’t help it as her lips tilted into an amused and happy little smile in response to his full-blown grin. And she would be lying to herself if she said that Remy calling her “dear” didn’t send a nice little shiver down her body. She glanced in the direction he pointed, taking note of the booth she would need to sit at, before turning back around to hear his little joke. Almost on accident a short little laugh escaped her, light and joyful. ”Hair is important.” she murmured softly to his retreating back, joking as well though she doubted he had heard her.
With that, as another boy replaced Remy, her hazel eyes widened, her shyness returning, and she quickly shuffled away towards the booth. Maybe she would get something later. Sitting down, Liv tucked her leather bag beside her and began waiting. She didn’t mind though as her thoughts were preoccupied with, what do you know, the blonde coffee boy! She realized she didn’t know his name yet, and hadn’t introduced herself either… but she wanted to. He was charming, at least towards her and easy to talk to even if others might not think the same. Not to mention he was drop dead gorgeous, an area they seemed pretty well matched on.

Remy had just went to the back where all the employee's stored their belongings, retrieving his cell phone and changing from his dirty work shirt into a simple black t-shirt. He read all of the messages people had sent him from last night into this morning. They were all nothing really, some from girls he had recently been involved with, asking him when he could hangout - although they knew that hanging out was not what they really wanted from him. Remy didn't know how he ended up with so many girl 'friends'. He met most of them at parties, ended up going home with them, then never speaking again. It's not that he did it on purpose, but that morning after the party, when he was no longer in his party mode, he realized what a mistake it was. Especially when the girl wanted him to stick around. His excuse was work, work or school. At the top, the most recent message was from his mom, who wanted him to come over for dinner tonight. That was also an automatic no. He hadn't seen his parents since last month, when they randomly stumbled upon the shop. He knew his mom had insisted on their visit there, despite how surprised she tried to act when she saw Remy busting tables. As usual, his father gave him a simple greeting. No 'How have you been, how's school, are you eating?' type of parent-ly type of stuff. Just a 'Hello Remington." And then he looked away, not making any kind of contact with him. His mother always tried to ask how he was doing, how things were going. But by the time those questions came he was already so pissed by his father's behavior towards him that his mother received the simplest answers. After that day luckily they haven't really talked, so this message from his mom threw him off a bit.
Remy retrieved his sweater, not putting it on but just holding it in his hand for when he left. He began to leave the little area, when he remembered that the girl did not get an application, so he wouldn't be able to get any of her information. Thinking quickly, he grabbed somebody's notebook and pen, and hurried out. He approached the booth and casually slid in the other side. "Hey again." He said, opening the notebook and turning it to a blank page. "You can just write some of your info on here - name, address, phone number ..." He lost his train of thought, forgetting completely what else belonged on an application. "...And I guess what ever else you think we would find useful." He shrugged, running his hand through his hair and flashing an unsure smile. He was waiting for her to finish writing down some stuff, studying her moving hand and occasionally the top of her blonde head. As he watched, something dawned on him. "Oh and by the way, my name is Remy."
