IDEA:
your boy and my girl could have been childhood friends, since their parents were besties or whatever
and then, some kind of secret family scandal could come to light (you can come up with that xD)
and the boy's family moved away
but then they come back his (senior or junior) year
and he meets my girl at the party but doesn't recognize her
and she doesn't recognize him
but they end up making out, and then finding out who they are by the end of that night (?)

I was thinking maybe for the scandal that is was like their mother was homicidal or something?
and went off on one of your girl's family members and killed them?
so my boy's father moved them across the country and changed their names
and their mother went to jail
but she was really innocent, she just needs serious mental health
and they move back to try to help clear her name
but your girl's family still blames them?
