David Mabley ; ; A shy smile touched David’s lips. “I always thought you were pretty,” David spoke honestly, letting his true mind come forward. “It was just I thought you would smack me if I hit you, and then…you and I didn’t have feelings for each other.” He stated honestly, David giving the girl a peck on the lips.
“How wrong I was.”

Drew Skyes: Drew smiled after his kiss, her heart beat fluttering and her stomach tickling from his words. "When I'm with you, David, you make me feel like all my past doesn't define me. And I can love someone for the first time in years," she was drenched in honesty, her tone soft.

David Mabley ; ; David smiled, “I can love you forever if you want.” He stated honestly, holding her close. Everything fluttered within him, hazel eyes drooping slightly.

Drew Skyes: Drew just nodded, snuggling into him. But her eyes were wide open, staring unfocused at the couch and feeling her heart beat speed up.. She didn't believe him, she didn't. She couldn't. No one could love someone forever, not even beautiful David. But Drew didn't comment, just laid there with him, skin to skin, breaths intertwined. If she didn't think about it too much, she could forget what he'd just said and pretend maybe this was just another great one night fling.

Drew Skyes: Drew's eyes flickered up at David from across her kitchen island, bringing some cereal to her mouth as she did so. He looked so disheveled and sexy after waking up, making her bite her lip slightly and glance back down at the bowl she was eating from. She'd given him some of her dad's clothes (though she'd rather have had him walk around naked, but in case her parents came home, she didn't think that was such a good idea) to wear while his were in the wash from the night before. She herself had managed to put her sweats and tang top back on, though no bra because hell yeah she liked to be comfortable and she didn't care if David saw anymore; he'd seen most of her anyways. Now she was just swinging her feet while eating quietly, watching him here and there with a small smile.
{ Ooops decided the fight is after another night of him staying the night in the future a lot like the one they just shared because oops already typed it up and too lazy to fix it. }

David Mabley ; ; { ala time skip }
Looking at the college visitation letter sorrowfully, David knew it was far away from where Drew planned on going; halfway across the country to be exact. He knew it was just a week, but it still was a college to consider. His mother had been shoving it down his throat, having lived in the state and it being near her parents so he had someone nearby. It was also Christian-orientated, which made it a big go-go on her radar.
And unfortunately, she brought up a lot of good points on the college. Leaving David no choice but to tell Drew, “hey I’m going to this college for a week, and might move across the country away from you if I like it and get accepted.”
It was a death wish.
Knocking on the door to the Skyes house politely, running a hand through his dirty blonde locks that kept falling into his vision when floppy. David straightened up when the door opened, hazel eyes at full attention.

Drew Skyes: Drew opened the door, smiling widely when she saw David there. "Hey babe," she stepped outside of her house onto the porch, bare feet stepping between his as she planted a kiss on his lips. Her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling back to look up to him. "I wasn't expecting you, but I'm okay with it," she teased, smiling widely and pushing her glasses up on her nose a bit, now wearing them around him a lot more.

David Mabley ; ; He gave her a small, obvious nervous smile. “Yeah, uh, listen. We have to talk about…college.” David tugged on the hem of his shirt nervously, looking down shyly. Because he knew Drew wouldn’t want him to go, and he didn’t really want to be far apart from her either.
It was opportunity. As his mother would say seriously, not caring how relationships in highschool turned out; she didn’t marry her highschool sweetheart, his father actually meeting her after college and in the service.
David’s throat tightened. “I’mleavingforaweektovisitacollegefarawayfromyours.” He said quickly, closing his eyes.

Drew Skyes: Drew didn't really register what he'd said until her body tightened a bit and her arms slid from around his neck. Instant dread hit her stomach, but this was Drew, remember, and that 'vulnerable' dread instantly turned to anger, imminent on her face. "What? Why?" she asked, tone snarky and high pitched, taking a step back from him back towards her doorway and furrowing her eyebrows.

David Mabley ; ; Looking away, mumbling; David was never a good kid to be put under pressure. “My mom. The college is nice, it’s near my grandparents, it’s just so well-rounded and Christian she wants me to consider it and visit it.” And of course, like Drew, if he did David was afraid he would end up going. For the greater good of living life and finding a job one day.

Drew Skyes: Drew's mouth parted slightly and her frown increased, angry eyebrows and all that. "I thought we were planning on going to -insert college name here- together?" she asked, hands on her hips now, hurt, but turning it into anger to hide it.

David Mabley ; ; “We were—are. We are. It’s just my mom is an equal opportunist, and wants the best for me!” David protested, knowing she was angry. His own hazel eyes and stance were submissive, leaving him looking down and trying to avoid Drew’s glare.

Drew Skyes: Drew rolled her eyes, throwing up her hands a bit. "What's best for you? When has that women ever forgotten two seconds about your guys' past to think about what's really best for you? Like the fact that you want to go to -insert college here- because they have the best photography program in the state? Not just for me, but for you, David," she yelled a bit though she knew she was selfish; she didn't care. She was Drew Skyes, duh. Didn't care much about anyone else but herself. Except for David, but not right now. She didn't actually know what was best for him, just that she wanted him to stay with her. "You have to tell her no," she furrowed her brows, tilting her head, studying him. Chest rising, falling in a fast pace. Cheeks flushed. She'd just barely got him, she couldn't be without him for a week let alone for all of college. Their relationship would never work. That thought made her throat swell and she almost choked, coughing a little biting her lip at him. "You can't leave me," she said it quieter, but it was laced with lots of anger.

David Mabley ; ; “I will tell her no.” He lied, because David had a hard time doing just that. To him it was always “yes mom” and “okay ma’am”; because that was how he grew up in a military family. Doing what was asked and not asking questions.
“It’s just for a week visit, I probably won’t like the place.” David lied, because once again the young man was easily impressed. Though Tribeca Flashpoint Academy was good…it wasn’t where his mom wanted him to go and that created a rift between mom and son.

Drew Skyes: "Then why do you need to go at all?" she asked, raising her voice a bit, arms still crossed, body still rigid. Eyes flicking over David, searching for any movement that showed he was lying or something.
