Lol sure or maybe it had to do with them going to college Ooo like one of them went to Oxford and met someone and got engaged while there while the other was in the states. Omg I had an idea. One of them became super successful and rich while the other fell on some sort of hard time and gets hired to do something for the wedding like photography or band or something and they meet and it sparks things again

Omg the second idea is brilliant! Loovvee it. Especially since the character I had in mind is a photographer. Do you mind if I roleplay the guy?

Ryan Callahan was a photographer and cinematographer. Despite the fact he had a dream of doing less mundane things like weddings he was tight for cash. His boss hated Ryan personally, but adored his skills so to make his life a living hell he was given a rich couples wedding to film and take pictues of. He had a little team of three who would help him, but Ryan had to meet and spend time with the happy ccouple until the big day. He wasn't so into the love thing, he hadn't gotten a girlfriend in a while since he broke up with his long time friend and girl in high school. Four or five years later and he was doing weddings. Fantastic.
So Ryan just looked in the mirror, brilliant and shimmering blue eyes looking rather tired. He forced a smile over the ruggedly handsome face of his and left the apartment with his camera around his neck and bbag tapping against his hip. He was going to meet the couple. His boss, Duncan, hadn't even given him their names. Asshole. Ryan sighed as he caught a cab from his downtown New York apartment to the luxurious lakehouse cafe where they'd decided to meet. Ryan had only talked to the groom to be on the phone, but he seemed like a stuck up dick, which did not make the job any better.

Alyssa Wright, Soon to be Alyssa Kennedy was currently freaking out. She was getting married in a little more than a week. No she didn't doubt the groom or that this was the right decision but.....married. That was huge. But surely it meant nothing Jason was great her life was great everything was just great. They'd met a year ago studying at Oxford and everything had just clicked. Alyssa was now marrying into a family of millionaires and philanthropists. Of course that had never been the plan. No since she was fifteen, her and Ryan were supposed to go to college at Brown, find a house and get hitched. Maybe start a family a few years later. He'd been her best friend and the only man she'd ever loved....until he broke her heart. But it was okay now because she had found the one...right? Ignoring this the young blonde stared out the window of the limo- striking green eyes trained out at the landscape rushing by. Jason had recently hired them a photographer and Alyssa was meeting him to approve the decision. So she settled herself and stepped out into the cafe, Alyssa quietly found a table and sat down looking around and waiting, hopefully he would be on time. She didn't even know his name, Jason hadnt mentioned it.

Ryan made it to the cafe, glancing out of the rippling water. The sun reflected off the far end of it, the part closest to him dark and lovely. Cool and calm. He walked up the boardwalk to the seemingly floating cafe. He stepped inside and came up to a young man with thick dark hair and piercing green eyes who scanned him. "Do you 'ave a reservation?" His accent was thick and proper, French and heavy. Ryan nodded. "Yeah, I'm here for a Jason Kennedy and his fiance." He said quickly. The man nodded, eyes still gazing at Ryan critically. He felt under dressed in dark jeans and a gray henley and his worn leather jacket. "Ah yes, zis way please." He moved to the back room where the windows overlooked the lake. "She is back there. Zee picture perfect blonde."
Ryan took one look and nearly fainted. Alyssa Wright. Or Alyssa Callahan as he had once thought. Memories hit him hot like a freight train. They'd had the right kind of love at the wrong time. Ryan couldn't support her. So he'd left her, broken and sad. He'd lied like hell to keep her away. He remembered the way she laughed and loved. And all of those emotions ran through him, cracking his armor. She hadn't seen him yet, he could still run, but he couldn't now. He'd be fired if he didn't do this wedding, but he knew it would kill him to see the love of his life marry another man.
He took a couple steps, then a few more and kept his head down. He took a seat across from her, putting his camera on the table. He didn't say anything for now.
