Ah California, the epitome of paradise; gorgeous west coast beaches, grand housing, stars hidden around every corner. East Cameron is located in southern California right along the coastline. A popular boardwalk is located in the heart of Sunset Beach, another popular tourist (and teenager) attraction. Several malls, amusement parks, and resorts make the area very busy in the summer months; but to the families living here, this paradise is their home. The large, central high school in East Cameron is East Cameron High; affectionately known as ECH by its attendants. Recently built, the school shines in its modern look; lots of windows, very bright, and a light, airy feeling is present. The building houses many classrooms, from science labs to woodshop rooms, with three gymnasiums and a theatre for drama presentations. Just a block down from the school, the town's recreational pool and arena are within a walking distance. Often the swimming, hockey, and figure skating teams and clubs practice there. And of course the pizza shoppe, ice cream parlor, and various fast food chains across the street are a plus as well.
