Ian is used to the life he's always been privileged to live -- this luxurious life of parties, girls, and everything he could ask for. his father [ a single dad ] wasn't very involved in his life much -- he wasn't around much. ian was basically raised by his nannies and babysitters, and never had much "bonding" time with his dad. in that respect, his father spoiled him rotten. perhaps he believed that if he threw money at the fact that he hadn't spent enough time with his only child, it would make up for all the time he had missed. to be honest, ian was totally fine with all of that. he's someone who enjoys the materialistic things, who goes against everything we've been taught, using things like money is a substitute for love. to him, it always was. so anyways, ian always acts a bit dumb. i guess a lot of his friends are pretty shallow, and like they say, if you spend enough time with someone, you'll start acting like them. ian is not the brightest boy around. but it's not like he's a friggin idiot, either. he's like most people -- if he applied himself, he'd be so much smarter. however, smarts aren't always revered in this town, so he's learned to dumb it down, to not try. it doesn't make his dad happy, obviously. Then again, Ian lives to aggravate his father who he absolutely cannot stand. Something about his father’s face whenever Ian does something wrong – that heart wrenching, gut dropping, “I’m so disappointed in you” face – it both breaks his heart and makes him just crave it even more. He almost craves it like a drug, like without, it he would just crumble and fall into nothing. But why does he feel so good putting his father down? Why does making his own flesh and blood disappointed make him feel better? Though he would never admit it, it’s not like he enjoys making his father feel bad for him. He has just learned that in order to survive – and to thrive – in his shoes, foolishness is the only rational act. Ian is definitely a follower, and is kind of like an eternal side kick. he's used to having someone lead him, someone to be there as a leader. he definitely isn't ready for a leadership role -- is he just not responsible? or is he just used too dependent? anyway, either way, he's quite content as a side kick, someone who is strictly a follower and nothing else. At times, Ian is put in situations where he is forced to assume a leadership role – and most of the times, he flops and fails. He just gets so flustered and redfaced in his cheeks – pressure is not his friend – but is it anyone’s, really? Ian’s nerves always overwhelm him, and he is just so not strong under pressure.  

so what does he look like, huh? Ian has dark brown hair, twinged with highlights of lighter brown and golden colors, almost always spiked up. he has dark chocolate brown eyes, twinged with other colors. he is pretty tall for a junior, standing at 6'2". he has an athletic build, being one of the jocks in school. His face claim is Brenton Thwaites, the way he looked in the Giver. His hair and face and body just looked really hot like so that’s way he looks. Look it up ♥

[ Benjamin and Bryce -- twins, best friends for life, companions until the end. Their relationship is very sweet, actually -- although they would never admit it to anyone, they need each other very much. Benjamin is the more imaginative one of the twins, the more spontaneous, the more personable one. He's the friendly one out of the twins, the one who makes more friends and establishes all of the connections in their lives [ like in all identical twinships, when one makes a friend, both makes a friend ]. Benjamin is the one you would want to marry [ even though most people say that Bryce is the more attractive brother -- they're both very attractive though, I mean, their identical twins ]. He's very down to earth and is easily sociable. His easy to talk to personality makes him the go to twin to most people. And he really is the best friend you could ever have -- he'll listen to you, and he'll always have a shoulder for you to cry on. Benjamin is easily described as the louder twin and he is often found talking more than Bryce [ physically, his mouth is bigger, too -- but that's not important ]. His speech is louder and more frequent, and his bright eyes seem to glimmer as he speaks. His hands also gesture a lot, but in a cute and endearing way that not many people can really understand. Benjamin is a filmmaker and loves making videos and movies and documentaries that he shoes at family gatherings, or maybe just with his friends or whoever really cares. His family was from London, and he and Bryce moved here just a year ago when they had just turned sixteen. They had had to start their whole lives over again, but Benjamin decided to film and document the entire process. Now, Benjamin and Bryce are based off of the adorable Jack and Finn Harries ♥ Pretty much their entire personalities are based off of them, and their faces are exactly the same. Benjamin's face claim is Jack Harries. He has dark hair, brown with natural honey highlights that dapple his hairs. His eyes are green with flecks of brown and blue that dance in his glowing irises. He stands at 5'11", a little shorter than Bryce. ]

[ Bryce is very different from his twin brother Benjamin. They're very close -- they do everything together, they share a room, they do the same sports, have the same classes. Pretty much, they do everything together. So how are they different? It's not like they're that separately different from each other. Benjamin is just the more talkative and down to earth one of the twins. Bryce is definitely a delight to be with -- he really is a nice person -- he's sweet and loving, but he's just not as talkative and spontaneous. He's the more creative one of the two, the more artistic and creative one. He's a graphic designer, and creates so many artistic and creative works that Benjamin could never even fathom. Like Benjamin, Bryce is very adventurous and enjoys travelling more than anything else. He loves seeing the world with a fresh pair of eyes every time -- and he's been so many different places with Benjamin. He also enjoys making videos with his brother Benjamin, but he doesn't as much as he does. Bryce is also more invested as a student -- they both do pretty well in school, but Bryce is just a little more focused and a little more invested. Benjamin is like the goofball [ even though they're both pretty goofy ] and doesn't exactly always focus totally well during classes. Bryce, on the other hand, is more invested with his school work and is definitely more hardworking. In reflection to that, his grades are better as well. Now, since Benjamin and Bryce love travelling, they're always going places. And they're just both so adventurous, and love to explore new things. They like having fun, letting loose, and just being young. Bryce's face claim is Finn Harries ♥ He has brown hair, with lighter and darker shades mixed in, with green eyes. He is a little taller than Benjamin, but not by much. Most people say that Bryce is more attractive than Benjamin [ and if you compare them by their face claims, I think that's so totally true ]. I guess it's all up to your preference. Benjamin represents that youthful exuberance, and while Bryce still maintains his youth, he looks put together, and less smiley and happy-go-lucky as Benjamin. ]

Luke is the kind of quiet, mysterious guy who you wouldn't expect to be the way that he really is. Sometimes, he can even surprise himself with how oblivious he is to everything. He's one of the very athletic guys in school, who has lots of friends on his teams. His main sport is soccer, and at his school, soccer is one of the most important school -- which in a sense, makes him popular. And to be honest, he is, since most of his best friends are popular. Yet, his personality is almost the complete opposite of what you would expect of someone of his social status. He can be oblivious to everything sometimes -- his mind is just kind of childish at times. Girls tend to flirt with him very much, dropping little, subtle hints that he can never pick up. As you would expect, that makes the girls he blows off pretty angry -- but it's really not even his fault, because he can't seem to put two and two together and realize that they're coming on to him. Luke's voice is soft and gentle, almost like water flowing in a rocky brook, yet with a few subtle scratches and idiosyncrasies that are evident in his every voice. Of course, with his friends, he's a lot of more outgoing and talkative, like anyone else would be. Luke has light blond hair, pale and lightened by hours spent in the sun on the soccer field. That pale, wheat color of hair has several multicolored strands of colors -- dark blond, dirty blond, yellow blond -- everything seems to blend together, yet fiddle apart at the same time. His eyes are just as pale as his hair is -- blue -- sky blue, with flecks of multiple colors. Some of a little of green, ferny with emerald highlights. Some of those colors include golden browns, like the color of amber, or syrup from a maple tree. Mostly; however, they look like orbs of clear blue. He isn't the tallest, but he's still pretty tall at 5'10". His face is very defined, and his jawbones are very prominent. He usually dresses in his sportsy, athletic clothing and jackets from his teams, but like most of the boys at his school, he can dress in classic, chic clothing with polos and khakis.

tommy is a handsome boy with light colored features. his sandy colored hair reflects the light well, emanating a kaleidoscope of golden blonds and browns. a lot of times, you can't seem to tell the color of his hair. it's a fair wheat color, but sometimes it seems more light brown than dark blond. it depends on the light, a lot of the time. his eyes are a soft, swirl of colors. like his hair, you can't always tell what color his beautiful eyes are. he, nevertheless, has gorgeous eyes. they're like a hazel-y color, flecked with ambers, sky blues, and foresty greens. it's not like his eyes change color or anything like that, it's just that they're a mix of many colors, that one color wouldn't be able to sum it all up. tommy has chiseled features, and his cherry lips are almost always pulled up in a loose, crooked grin. standing at about 6'3", tommy is pretty tall for an 17 year old boy. so what does he wear? well, tommy was a very athletic boy -- he still is. but, he dresses in many different varieties. sometimes he's more classy, wearing a button up flannel and khaki pants with a nice pair of sperrys [ for guys, obviously ]. sometimes he's in his athletic wear -- shorts, a nice t-shirt, and his coveted lacrosse sweatshirt that fits his body nice and snug. other times he dresses purely for comfort -- sweats and a t-shirt. his face claim is ansel elgort since he's super hot ♥ it may seem like tommy has everything all together, but maybe that's just because he was raised that way. his parents and friends had drilled it into his mind that he had to be charming, well put together, and treat others in a respectful manner. he's never been able to get outside of the box, or really be the way he is. to be honest, he can be kind of a goofball. he likes to see and make people laugh, but of course, he never really gets the chance. because of that, he's always listening to what other people tell him to do. he isn't the brightest boy out there, and always seems to following and hanging around his sister sue because her personality is authoritative and commanding which, in turn, gives him some direction. he's very dependent, although the personality his parents had cemented on him would make him seem as if he were all put together.
