Juliet was entirely bored out of her mind. Not because of English-she found the class and mr, Jackson fascinating but they never got anything done all thanks to the trouble in the back row of the room. Jules, of course, sat right infront a much better view of the board and the discussion. Even though discussion was usually between a select few students and mr. Jackson. Even still. Here she sat for third period, another day, another class disrupted by idiots. She sighed settling into her seat and setting up her binders and pens. Juliet looked up when the bell rang and mr Jackson launched into his daily discussion, Shakespeare and his works were their current unit and all jokes about her name aside, Jules quite liked it. Particularly everything except Romeo and Juliet. She hated being named for that book. Apparently they were to work on a group project. To Juliet that just meant a solo project her doing all the work because everyone she got partnered with seemed to be an incompetent jock or some video game obsessed kid. She looked down for a bit humming quietly as she waited only suddenly her name was on the board....right next to adrien's. her manners were too good to swear aloud so she did it in her head. Fuck! no no no , there was no way this was not happening Adrien?!? This was not okay. But she just had to keep her head down, maybe it would all go away if she ignored it.

Adrien had the same thought as Juliet; that if her kept his head down and ignored it, it would go away. He had a vague hope that some douchebag would go flirt with her and somehow have the exact same name as him.
Haha. Adrien needs to work on his imagination.
After a while, he decided that 'what the hell' and to just go over there. Maybe he was somewhat nervous about their now-strained relationship and the fact they hadn't hung out since Freshman year. Which was a while ago, considering he was a Junior.
He jumped up from his seat and made his way over to Juliet, chuckling as he noticed the two freeloaders were paired together. That wouldn't end well.
He paused just before he reached her, then took a few steps to be just next to her.
"Hey...Juliet?" He said quietly, yet again hoping there was someone else name Adrien Tomlinson in the class.

There was no logical hope for either of their plans. Because each of them knew that the other did indeed exist, and that Juliet for one did pretty much hate adrien's guts. It was a long story that went back to freshman year. Painful, frustrating and so not worth remembering or repeating for Juliet. Now fast forward two years and here Juliet sat. Hoping and praying, completely in vain, that adrien and she would not cross paths. And that vain hope had snapped into a million pieces because here came the jerk. He was looking around, trying to find an escape route, or so it seemed. Juliet didn't begrudge him that, because she almost wanted to the same exact thing. And then he was there, standing next to her desk trying to talk to her. So Juliet faked it and smiled up at him, " Adrien, so good to see you remembered my name" she replied, her voice completely pleasant but her sky blue eyes held such a complete venom it was clear there was no happiness for her, seeing adrien right now. Or ever.

Adrien could tell when Juliet faked a smile. He'd known her for a long time -- or, at least had known. It still pained him, though, that Juliet hated him. Although he totally deserved it.
"Um.... How could I forget.....?" Adrien said, his voice going slightly higher as he dragged out the word 'forget', failing miserably at making pleasantries. His hand reached past his neck into the back of his hair and he looked off to his left, tousling his hair with a nervous chuckle. Yeah, Juliet might be a few months younger than him, but this was the girl who could totally whoop his butt in third grade -- still could, probably.

Although it had been years, Juliet had always found herself unable to shake how tense and uncomfortable Adrien's presence constantly made her. It was completely unfair. He didn't deserve the ability to do to him. Although she took small pleasure in the fact that she apparently made him just as uncomfortable. Look at how hard it was for him to speak to her for god sake! Sure, Juliet knew all this might come off as a bit cruel, but with their shared history, adrien deserved her ill will. Shrugging Juliet replied loftily " well unlike some of these air-headed morons, I happen to know the real you" she sighed rolling her eyes " now lets start getting this hellish experience over with"

{{ yeah, I will. Last month was crunch time for our production but we close this weekend, so I'll have a lot more time.
I wanted to go in a romantic direction (heh) because I haven't done romance in a loooooong time, but really I think the main focus tight now is getting them to be friends again. Not really sure what the details of that would be. Sorry. My Brian's kinda....dead. }}

Mine too. I've been sick this whole weekend, bug, nausea, yuckiness
I agree romantic and probs on the friend bit however there are two directions we can take this
1. They slowly rebuild their friendship and it becomes romantic, drama throughout
2. They continue to hate Eachother, slowly it becomes a physical relationship only then they both realize they have true and meaningful romantic feelings for each other

Ugh, that sucks rob. Hope you're feeling better.
I really like the second one, but if by physical you mean sex, I'm not sure how comfortable I am role playing that. Anyway, I've always imagines Adrien as the popular guy who everyone thinks has had sex but he's actually a virgin (and I think he intends to stay one x3 or maybe not, still haven't worked out all the kinks in his personality)

Adrien nodded; muted by Juliet's comment about knowing 'the real him' and by her coldness. He deserved her dislike -- he knew he did -- but he had hoped this would be like those tv shows where the past is the past and then smiles all the way. So much for wishful thinking. And then the 'real you' comment. That bugged him. He was different from middle school -- a lot. He was 7 girlfriends and 3 years different. He put that thought in the back of his head and sat down next to her, clearing his throat. "Agreed." He said, fiddling with his thumbs -- an old habit he had never broken.

Juliet knew full well that she was being exceedingly harsh on Adrien, but truthfully she couldn't help it. Not when their last real conversation had been years ago and they'd left things the way they did. Unfortunately for them both they knew exactly what had happened in the past and it had been real, and speaking for herself....it had left Juliet raw and feeling tainted, dirty almost. But to be fair, she was different too-3 years and self preservation focused, different. It was because of this that when Adrien spoke she gave him a cold smile " good, that might be the only good decision you've ever made"
As for earlier, about the options. So you don't want to do the physical thing? Do you personally have a problem with it or is it a charrie thing, and btw I don't mean it would be graphic or anything. I can't do that.

Same! I can do physical as long as it isn't graphic. So as long as it's not detailed I'm okay with role playing it. Reply coming up as soon as I eat dinner.

Adrien glared at Juliet when she smiled and replied. "I've made good decisions before." He said, his voice hard. He stopped fiddling with his thumbs and dropped his hands down into his lap, his fingers laying against the denim of his jeans. He let out a frustrated sigh and looked down at the desk.

Juliet almost wanted to apologize for a moment, maybe she shouldn't be so cold. But it was so so difficult since she knew exactly how that had gone in the past. Whenever Juliet had let her guard down, Adrien, intentionally or not, found some way to screw with her head. " right, you have" she murmured softly looking down at the tiled floor and tapping her fingers against the desk.
