Rose She was startled by his words, recoiling thoughts going through her mind as she thought over what he'd just said to her. Who he fucked. So he had had sex before. Rose hadn't known that, or wanted to know that. But she was only stuck in that mind set for a second before she was on her feet, mivng to her bed in angry steps, seething now.
When she got to her bed, she threw a pillow onto the floor from it's first known, made, position. She knew the unclenliness would piss Levi off any more a she began to spit back at him,
"You're fucking hilarious. You know that, Levi? You think everything is about you all the time. It's always a pity party for Levi!" she motioned around, throwing another pillow, this time harder so that is made a loud noise as it hit the wall, rustling her knickknacks on her dresser. "Well boo-fucking-whoo. It's not always the Levi show! Okay? We get it," she stopped touching the pillows to look at him, blue eyes dark still with anger. "We get it. You were abandoned. Shit happened, which you won't explain, but sure as fucking hell expect us to understand. We get it. But please," she laughed mockingly. "Don't treat me like a fucking child because of something you messed up on," she pointed him. Then wrung her hands together tightly. "Dammit Levi, I get you're allowed to kiss people. Jesus, I'm not some dramatic little kid anymore! So stop treating me like one. And stop being an asshole. You knew she was my new friend, you did. And to think that I thought you'd have some just a bit of damn respect for me, not to do anything with her...?" she shook her head and pressed her hands into the bed, not looking at him, feeling like all her energy was draining. She didn't want to do this anymore. Fight. Of course, they hadn't had one this bad before, but Rose was tired of hiding all of her thoughts and feelings and not doing something about it.
"If anyone's oblivious, it's you, Levi," she was calmer now, her voice sounded actually motherly instead of like a whiny teenager. "You sit in your room and mope all day long, curse like a sailor in front of the kids, don't give a rats ass about them any of the time. They look up to you," she looked up at him and shook her head in disbelief. "But you don't even give a bit of a damn to stop throwing your pit party for once and be mature."
She thought she was done until the words came back again, "You can yell at me, hate me, and call me whatever you want. But until you start acting your age," she pressed her lips together, staring at him again with full ferocity. "Then don't treat me like a child, because we both know I'm not one in this situation."

Levi Anderson ; ; Levi bit back a snort, “please Rose. You don’t care about the boys, you don’t even care enough about yourself to eat half the damn time. How the hell would you? You didn’t eat lunch, you didn’t fucking touch dinner.” Glaring. “I wasn’t the only one abandoned, thank you very much. Physically, maybe, but so you fucking know; to a child losing a parent is like being abandoned and betrayed cause they fucking expected them to be there for them.” Stupid psychology class. “I give a rat’s ass about everyone. Just because I don’t show it to your Rosie-posie-standards doesn’t mean I don’t have feelings.” He grunted, before looking her dead in the eye. Growling, “if you weren’t so damn intent on getting into the ‘popular’ life of school, and get your head out of your ass, maybe you would realize such things with your friends and siblings. God, you were so oblivious to Marian?” He clucked, “your best friend from Meadow View, you didn’t even notice her limping one day or listen to her or notice how she looked at me?” He remembered Marian, she was sweet, desperate, and at the time he was a bit merciless, hungry, and suffering from extreme PTSD and depression. He…regrets what he did to her. Even now, his mouth snapped shut. They would still talk and be consider friends, and she even was glad ‘it was him’. Still he broke her heart, and lost someone. He was also the reason she didn’t come by after they had sex, and she even confided that she came by to see him, not Rose. God he was a horrible person.

Rose "Stop acting like you care. About me, about the boys. You might have feelings, but you don't show it. You shut everyone out. And sorr-y I wanted to be friends with people at school and maybe forget for a damn second that I was a foster kid. Maybe I wanted to be normal. Well damn me to hell because father I have fucking sinned!" she threw up her hands.
She stopped though when he said it. Rose's ex-best friend Marian. Instantly her teeth gritted, her heart dropped, all color leaving her face and all tension leaving her muscles fluid like water.
No. Fucking. Way.
Mouth agape, Rose looked at him in utter shock. "Did you-?" she stuttered. "A-And her...?"
Suddenly she felt like she needed to throw up. This wasn't happening. Marian was her best friend for years at their old school, her only source of friendship in her large house. The only person she could confine in. The only person who would listen. And then, a few months before the Palchak's moved, Marian had abruptly cut all contact off from Rose. Completely. With no explanation. And leaving Rose heart broken for weeks and weeks.
Sometime she still cried at night about it, but she would never tell.
Hot tears came into her vision, shaking with new anger, clenching her fists at her side. Rose said in a shaking, low, angry voice, "I can't fucking believe you. And you're sitting here giving me shit about having my head up my ass? You're a hypocritical liar!" Rose was yelling now. But she didn't care. The tears streamed down her face. "She was my best friend you fucking low life son-of-a-bitch!"
Anytime now Carolyn would probably come break up the fight, which was disrupting the peace, but Rose didn't care at this point, blue eyes staring daggers into Levi.

Levi Anderson ; ; It hurt Levi, if he wanted to let emotions out, he would. But it would also risk bringing up the bitterness and cold cruelty of himself to the surface. Internally, he flinched. Externally, he regarded the girl calmly. “That’s right I am,” he stated it confidently, inside he was whispering it and feeling like the blood was pooling around his feet. He looked away, growling, “did you fucking learn anything over the past year, keep your nose out of the goddamn business of others, but dear god, listen for fuck’s sake to others verbally and their body language.” It was a plea, as roughly as Levi put it, it was a plea. He can’t speak his feeling verbally, but he wanted her to listen to his slumped posture, the way his eyes darkened with hurt at every time he raised his voice. But once again, she was self-absorbed in the problem beforehand to understand the real hurting going on. He saw she was hurt, Levi knew what he was doing hurt her and yet the pride did nothing to stop it. It just continued to boil.

Rose "We're not talking about anyone else right now, Levi," she was obviously not getting the point he was putting out. "We're talking about how you fucked my best friend. I can't believe you," she glowered again, fists still clenching and unclenching, heart racing a million miles a minute. "I cannot believe you! But it all makes sense, why you had another girl on top of you just then. You're just as slutty as she is!" Rose told him, finally turning to shove off all the rest of her pillows and get her comforter ready for bed. She wanted to slip into it's depths and never return. Not only was she hurt, betrayed, and mad, but she felt sad. Lost for some reason. Really down on herself because she knew half the things Levi said were true about her. And it startled her he'd noticed she'd stopped eating. She hadn't thought it was a big deal until he brought it up, but now she was most definitely not going to change those ways, just to be spiteful to him. Rose, at this point, didn't care how Levi was feeling or what was going through his head. She didn't care, for now anyways, about him at all after what she'd found out.
But that would most likely change in the morning.

Levi Anderson ; ; A wave of nausea washed over Levi as he heard her comment, her derogatory comment. She didn’t know, he couldn’t blame her. He couldn’t blame her, he knew it. Levi couldn’t help the dark turn his look became, a flash of emotion appearing, but it was a mixture and unreadable. “At least it wasn’t a man this time,” Levi said darkly, glaring at anything but Rose. With a turn, Levi was racing out the door. Passing Carolyn with a simple, “it’s over, comfort her.” And walking to slam the door to his room. She sensed his distress but knew he needed to be alone. Deep breaths, Levi, he breathed. Trying to calm down. His past coming to haunt him, the endless amount of psychological and emotional and physical torment. Levi couldn’t help the tears threatening to fall, or glancing at the scars and imagining the blood there, the pain shooting through his body, the way his throat hurt after screaming. Levi hated it. And yet he curled up in a ball on his bed, and fell asleep; the prickling tears finally falling from his eyes.

Rose Rose froze, brain slowly ticking to register what she'd just heard from Levi. 'At least it wasn't a man this time'.
Levi was bisexual?
Suddenly, the room kind of spun on Rose and she had to sit down on her bed, holding back tears as she numbly stared in shock at the ground, Carolyn peaking in to talk to her, but Rose wasn't able to say one word.
All she could think was; What've I done?

Rose It'd been a long day at school, the week thankfully finally over. Rose's feet hurt from her excessive walking between classes, in which she swore were on all different sides of school all day long. Her whole body felt tired, drained from the unexciting idea that she had to go home and do homework. She did not, nor did she ever, want to do homework after a long ass day at school. But she was just grateful the damn week was over so she could go home and procrastinate to get things done until Sunday, then regret i the next day. Hey, at least she could sleep a little until then. Rose was thinking this as she closed her locked door for the final time, only taking the books and homework out that she needed for that night. As she locked it back up, focused too intently on trying to lock it back up again (she blamed it on being tired), there was a vibrating feeling in her back pocket. When she took out her phone, a silver colored Razor that seemed 1,000 years old (but hey, she was a foster kid. whadda expect?) a text came up onto the screen when she flipped it open. Party 2nite @ Jessica Barrock's plc @ 8. B thr. brng drnks
Instant excitement swelled through Rose, almost making her drop her books in hand. Her. Rose, the newbie. Invited to a party? She couldn't believe it. The text was from an unknown number, which didn't make sense to Rose since she didn't give out her number very often, just had her cell phone for emergencies like to get ahold of her foster parents or call to yell at Levi from a safe distance. But, Rose didn't care, the thought completely slipping out of her mind as added adrenaline pumped through her and she started to speed walk towards the bus so she could get home as quickly as possible. She had a party to get to. --- Carolyn wasn't too keen on the idea, not surprisingly. Rose was home now, after she'd helped clean up dinner and everyone else played or did their usual Friday night activities, now leaning towards her foster mother in a pleading way. " Please Carolyn," she begged, "My friends invited me. I have to go!" Carolyn gave her a look, handing her a plate to be dried off which Rose did with a frown and a swipe of the towel in her hand. "That's not a very convincing argument Rose."
"Carolyn, please. Holland will be there, it'll be perfectly safe and clean," she lied. Everyone in school knew Holland was the biggest partier and slut around. But Rose knew her mother didn't know that; she thought she was the safe pastor's daughter.
This seemed to catch her foster mom's attention as she paused in her work, sighing, and turning to look at Rose again. "Do you swear it will be safe? No drinking? No drugs? Just a fun, small, get together?" she questioned.
The lie was off of Rose's tongue faster than she thought possible, "Yes ma'am."
Carolyn's eyes studied her oldest foster kid; searching for some sort of sign she wasn't telling the truth. Maybe Carolyn's eyes were getting too old or something, because she didn't suspect anything. But just to be certain...
"Fine," Carolyn turned away from her daughter, washing again. Rose jumped in glee but before she could thank Carolyn, the wise mother added, "But only if Levi is going too."
Rose's face fell. "But he wasn't invited-!" she started to whine. God no. Please no Levi, she thought. He would make everything suck. Once again. Ruining her life without even doing it on purpose.
"Ah," Carolyn cut her off with a raise of her finger. "Wrong. Holland called an hour ago. Now, if you want to go, you'll have to convince him to go too," she smiled knowingly, then went back to work. When Rose tried to argue, Carolyn just shook her head and didn't listen, ending up with making Rose stomp up to her room and slam the door.
How was she supposed to get the King of anti-social to go to the biggest social effect of Rose's sorry life?

Levi Anderson ; ; Carolyn had relayed the message from Holland, his eyes narrowed in the mirror. He had a sneaky suspicion that he knew what she was up to; but Levi had a better morality than she may think. Shaking his head, Levi would make an excuse that Carolyn had told him he couldn’t go, something came up, and he had to watch the kids. It was a lie, but Levi knew well enough he could bullshit his way through it. He heard the stomping, and slamming of a door. Wondering what had her in a fuss, Levi popped his head out to glare at Rose’s closed door. His grey eyes were daring her to open it up and yell at the top of her lungs, Levi was tired of her shit. He called her out on it, rudely, and was still feeling guilty of it. Still, he knew it had to be done eventually. After a while, he decided to bite his lip and return to his room. Whatever had Rose in a mood would only aggravate him more because it was a shitty reason. He already wasn’t talking to her or bickering with her, instead talking when forced too and that’s it.

Rose Rose sat on her bed in a huff, raking through her brain for ideas on how she could still go without having to talk to Levi. Technically, she could sneak out. hell, no one would noticed since she was usually in her room 100% of the time. But Rose had a very strong conscious when it came to that kind of stuff, and so that wasn't an option.
The only one was to actually talk to Levi, though she hadn't all week unless forced too. Every time he came up in her thoughts, and she got mad and had to calm down or it would ruin her whole day. He just pissed her off so much. She wished he wasn't involved with this party, wasn't invited. And Rose could imagine who invited him; Holland. And that just made Rose even more angry.
But all pride aside, she still had to get to the party and the only way to do that was through Levi. So, regretfully, she opened her door, moving to his room. last time she'd been in it, she'd seen something she'd probably never forget and it made her swallow down a bitter taste in her mouth at the memory. Yet she still willed herself to knock on the door and wait patiently for the one person she didn't want to speak to to open up the door as she clenched her jaw.

Levi Anderson ; ; Opening his door, immediately, Levi’s eyes darkened. “I suspected it would be you.” He huffed, opening the door a bit wider to cross his arms and lean on the frame. “What do you want?” Was all he asked, not bothering to make small talk, knowing well enough they both wouldn’t do such a thing after their fight recently. Guilt nagged him, told him to apologize while he had the chance. But pride bit it down, Levi’s face remaining steady, watching Rose shift uncomfortably and her own eyes blazed with emotions Levi couldn’t read. Something was troubling, but he doubted it was a confession and stating he was right. “Well?” Levi grew impatient, letting out an annoyed huff. “If you’re to give me the stink eye, do it from behind the door.” He moved his arm to pull the door towards him and stepping aside to close it.

Rose "Hold on prick-face," she shot her arm out to stop the door from closing, swallowing down another mean reply because she just wasn't up for it. And she kind of needed him on her good side, somewhat.
Her blue eyes traveled over his features as she sighed and dropped her hand, rubbing her arm. "So Jessica's party tonight... I was invited. But Carolyn says I can't go unless..." she almost grimaced. "You're...there. Too," she gave him a nervous smile but inside she was shaking. God she wanted to go so badly, and it all rested on him. Stupid.

Levi Anderson ; ; His poker face remained as Levi bluntly stated, “no.” The door closing with a click, leaving a thoughtful Levi on the other side. Forehead pressed to the wood, he thought of how Rose wanted to go, seemed upset and angered and possibly jealous of Levi as he explained his hidden life behind their backs. Levi, he trusted Rose, his arrogance wouldn’t allow Levi to tell her his story. Yet, Levi knew if ever it came out he could trust her ears with it. There was a nagging doubt that if he didn’t come, and Rose did go, he’d be sorry. She’d be knocked up, innocence lost, or worst…dead. Taking in a deep breath, Levi opened the door. “Fine. But we leave if I feel like there is a problem, got it?” He threatened, steel eyes threatening and with a gleam of protection and caution. Carolyn had offered to take them, by that she meant allowing Levi to drive on the roads and get familiar with the roads; hoping maybe once settled he could take the car and do more for her while Carolyn got a home-job that wasn’t just taking care of children. Sighing loudly, Levi watched the road for the house number; idly pulling up to the side. Glancing at Rose in the back with an raised eyebrow through the mirror, he hopped out of the running car; Carolyn getting out and getting in the drivers side. She knew they probably wanted to be ‘cool’ so he only words were, “have fun, be safe, I love you!” And driving back to the house where Jane was left in charge. At the immediate arrival of the house, it looked normal on the outside. On the inside, as he approached, the music was loud and the people inside were yelling like deaf people. Thankfully the house was in the country and middle of goddamn nowhere to be heard. Groaning, Levi had been to a few parties like this, he knew you don’t knock and be lame. His hand gripped the door knob and threw open the door, announcing their arrival.

Rose Dressed to her fullest extent, hair curls, cutest outfit on, make-up done well enough; Rose was ready as she stepped into the doors of her first 'real' high school party.
And man was she happy about it.
Kids she'd seen from school, mostly in hers and Levi's grade, walked, danced, laughed, horseplayed, or drank all around them as they stepped inside the house. Rose was smiling from ear to ear, taking in the large house. It was bigger than theirs; obviously Jessica's family was rich. There were nice pictures on the walls that bounced with ever drop of the bass and nice carpet that people's bare feet slid through.
Not a rager by any means, but still, a nice, swinging party.
Her first order of business was to find someone she knew, and preferably away from Levi. So she turned to him, patted him on the shoulder and said, "C'ya," before turning back around and heading into the mass of people to find a drink and some of her other new friends.

Levi Anderson ; ; His gaze turned towards Rose, a protest on his lips as she disappeared and was lost in the midst. Damn it. Levi clucked, trying to find the girl; just to watch from a safe distance, he decreed, wondering where the person who had really wanted to see him. He felt eyes on him, someone nudging another, and pointing to Levi. Whether it was to inform Holland, or maybe he was just the most unlikely to be at a party; Levi watched the young man turn and flee. Mixed emotions returned, knowing the hell Rose will put him through by abandoning her to his own little slutty monster. Instead, Levi kept his gaze on the can of soda he had; personally opening it and making sure no one touched it. They were idiots, his classmates, but Levi had a great fear of things in his drinks. Particularly alcohol, though Levi grew up hearing the stories of date rape drugs, he had only ever witnessed it once from afar and had been disgusted when he couldn’t look away until the person and girl were out of sight behind a dumpster and a pair of clothes entering his vision made him run. He knew he could have helped then, but Levi was weak. So he protected himself by making sure no people touched his drink. Looking up, Levi bit back his scowl; watching Holland approach him. He knew she what she was after, sex, public affection, all of which Levi had denied and been blatantly ignoring the girl since Rose. Hoping she would leave him alone.
