Zayn Momentarily losing his cool, Zayn jumped out of his seat as the bus came to a stop, fishing his way through the middle isle until he reached Levi. There, he grabbed down to yank the collar of his shirt up, but instead of succeeding, Rose was in between them before any fight happened.
"Back the fuck off bitch," Zayn growled, at least a foot taller than Rose. But, to his surprise, she just puffed her chest bigger at him and held up a finger to point into his face.
"If you want to mess with him, you'll have to go through me. And that's called abuse, and you can go to jail for it. So I suggest," she shoved into his chest a little, making the vein in his neck flex. "You back off and leave him alone."
"You better watch out, short-shit. I'll come back for you when the slut's gone. Then you'll really regret ever messing with me," he glared before looking back over at his posse and nodding his head. "Let's go," he said before turning and leaving the bus, one of the girl's in their group taking his bag out for him from behind. As Holland passed them, she gave them an apologetic smile.
"Zayn's kind of a dick. Don't let him fool you. He's all talk," she put her hand on Rose's shoulder before her gaze traveled over Levi. The flirty side of her, most always present, came out and she winked at him before sauntering after the rest of them.
Rose turned back to Levi, looking around them. Everyone but Jane and him had gotten off the bus, so the coast was clear. And for the first time ever, Rose latched onto Levi when he got to his feet, arms wrapped tightly around his neck. "Thank you," she breathed before the hug was over quickly and she straightened out her outfit, clearing her throat. "That never happened," she pointed at Levi, then Jane, before exiting the bus. But as she did that, she couldn't help but feel a tingling inside of her gut, but she didn't know what the feeling was exactly.
Tommy Tommy shook his head with a smile and got up to leave before the commotion had happened, saying with a sigh, 'Whatever you say Zoe," affectionately before putting on his bag and stepping around her, seeing her talky to the new girl who seemed pretty scared at how bold his foster sister was acting. Gently, he touched her arm, "Zoe, you comin'?" he asked her, trying to save the girl from more random talk. If anything, he wanted Zoey to talk randomly to him, and not this new girl. He was just selfish like that. Jane Jane had watched the whole thing between Rose and Levi and as she walked down the isle of the bus passed him, she raised a suggestive eyebrow at him, not saying a word. But she didn't have to. She knew he knew what she meant, seeing the look on Rose's face after he defended her. And out of all the kids, Jane felt somewhat closer to Levi, like he understood where she was coming from. So she thought it would be funny to suggest something romantic between them to either get the truth out about it or to just tease him if there wasn't anything there like she was thinking there was.

Zoey Palchak ; ; Zoey bounded off the bus with Tommy, looking at the crowd of people around her. Instantly, she found herself being stared at by the ones who noticed the newcomer’s presence; causing the smile and bouncy personality to waiver slightly. Still, she kept up the overly joyful persona for Tommy. “Come on Tommy, we should get our schedule!” The girl grabbed her foster brother’s hand, weaving through the crowd. “Hello!” She spoke to a young girl who looked their way. Making the girl turn the other way, “bye!” Zoey said as they passed, entering the school. She took one glance with her brown eyes, beaming at the office entrance and those who worked in them. “Come on!”
Levi Anderson ; ; There was only a slight gleam of interest in Levi’s cold eyes, watching the incident warily, listening intently on his now-muted music. His everlasting glare was watching Zayn leave, knowing full well it wasn’t ‘over’ and Levi’s first impression wasn’t going to be the best one. Looking at Rose, his body stiffened at their contact—his face remaining neutral through the ordeal—knowing full well this was a rare moment of kindness before they would be back at each other’s throats. His pupils flickered to watch the girl leave the bus, head held high, as she confidently showed her face to the school. Looking at Jane, a slight crimson dusted Levi’s face at her suggestive look (even if it was as innocent as a goddamn puppy, it still was there) making Levi look away while scratching his neck nervously—a habit only Jane figured out. “What? It’s not like we’ll be at each others throats in a matter of hours.” Which the point of their relationship, honestly, unless they were ignoring each other in their rooms or with the family and barely acknowledging each other—Levi and Rose were quarreling constantly (with the rare moments of kindness). To Levi, he felt it had something to do with his intrusion in the house. He was the oldest, technically, and a guy who refused to even show interest in anything, called most people names, and had the most shitty-ass personality ever. A young man, upon arrival, who told the Palchaks he ‘had a habit of running away’ and yet he stayed. Levi, assuming, her dislike stemmed from one of those. Shrugging his shoulder, Levi followed Jane as the last off the bus before the door snapped shut and it sped away in a cloud of putrid smoke; “oh hell no is that happening ever again.” Levi coughed to himself, narrowing his eyes at the crowd and glancing at Jane. Gripping his backpack, Levi showed a brief unvoiced fear of the new school, the crowds, the fact of fitting in when he knows is impossible for him, to the girl, before his face melded into one of disinterest, and the flying fuck was gone. “Come on, I just want to get this already shitty day over with.” With that, Levi moved forward.
Marco Scott ; ; Marco watched the bus unload, instantly taking in the new faces and some of the older ones. Holland and Zayn were on their bus, leaving a slight frown to grace Marco’s features. That never posed good with their reputations around the school. Personally, Marco never had the heart to believe the two of them would commit such acts, but everyone has their secrets and it’s just possible maybe that was theirs. He couldn’t help but feel bad the new kids, trudging his way over to the bus and towards one of the unfamiliar faces; and yet the most welcoming, it seemed. “Hello. You must be new.” Marco chirped brightly towards the young man, smiling his freckled smile. He didn’t know the name of the young man, but Marco had graced upon young Harry of the Palchak family and would soon find he had interests with the young man and alongside that would be able to handle his dramatic attitude, but that of his crazy family also. “My name is Marco.” He introduced right away, kind brown eyes watching the guy ever so slightly before nervously turning away. Maybe he was being too upfront, leaving Marco to scratch the freckles on his neck. If his dark hair was long enough, Marco might of hid his face behind it, but alas, his hair falls halfway down his forehead making it hard to do such.

Jane Smiling softly at Levi, Jane pinched his shoulder affectionately and turned to see what was in front of her. Beyond the mass crowd of students, tiredly making their way into the school, Jane was trying to find some sort of front desk to go to to get her office. Seeing Zoey rush off with Tommy in the direction of the front office, Jane assumed it was there that she could find her schedule. She was actually excited to learn, even if it was hard to do so. Something in her mind just made it almost in possible to do that. But, she still tried her best and sometimes made good enough grades to get into a college sometime after high school. So, taking a step forward, she started to walk away from Levi and the rest of her 'family' towards the school year's new beginning.
But that was before she saw him. A freckle faced, slightly tall, handsome boy talking to Harry. She paused in her step, making someone knock into her back. They cursed at her as she caught her balance and gave them an apologetic look before searching through the crowd again to see if she could find the boy again. Thankfully, he was still there, talking to Harry. She felt her face get hot as she watched him talk and then act a bit nervous while talking to her 'brother'. After a few more seconds, she was pushed again by someone walking by and decided she needed to stop gawking and keep moving forward.
Harry Harry's face jerked up from studying the ground tiredly to see a kid talking to him. He smiled, feeling the sincerity coming off the guy easily. "Hey, yeah. My family and I just moved here," he pointed over his shoulder, though by now, all of his siblings had moved away. Harry's green eyes were dark in contrast with his light brown hair, shaggy, a very jagged 'Justin Bieber' styled cut in Carolyn's eyes, but not soft like the celebrities, and including waves in it's texture. But he didn't mind it, actually thinking it looked better than shorter haired him. He too had light freckles over his nose, but definitely not as many as dark or as frequent as the kid's he was talking to. "I'm Harry," he shifted the strap on his bag cooly, feeling suddenly less nervous now that a nice guy had started talking to him. Friends. He could use friends. "Oh hey," he reached out as he said it and then tugged his backpack in front of him though it was still on his shoulder. Unzipping the material, he pulled out his most prized possession; his soccer ball. He said to Marco, "When can I use this baby?" he smiled again softly and bounced it in his hand happily, sliding his backpack back behind him after zipping it.
Tommy Surprised when Zoey had jerked him after he, he was grinning as they first started into the school. Then they passed more and more kids, giving them weird glances, and it made him nervous. What if they were judging him because of Zoey's abruptness? He wanted to be cool, remember? He had to act like it. But...she was also Zoey. And he thought he'd be able to give up his showy act of being suave and followed her to the front office where he could get his schedule too. "Zoe! Slow down!" but he was laughing as he said it, holding onto his backpack with his free hand as he loped lankily behind her, short chopped black hair thankfully not getting in front of his brown eyes since Carolyn made him cut it. Rose As Rose moved away from the bus, she scanned over the lawn for some sort of indicator of where she needed to be going. Unlike her other siblings, she'd gotten her schedule online the night before so she didn't have to waste precious time that she could be using to find her classes before the day started so she didn't look like a lame new kid. Clutching it in her hand, she pushed a blond curl behind her ear and noticed her fingers shaking from nerves. On the outside, she probably seemed cool and collected. But on the inside, Rose was nervous that she'd make a bigger fool of herself. And she was still thinking over what had just happened.
She'd hugged Levi. And for them, that was a big thing. They were the ones in the house to bicker the most and most definitely didn't get along enough to share a hug. But she hadn't disliked it. At all. Which was weird to her, since they lived together and didn't get along. Why had she liked it? And what was that stupid nagging feeling in the pit of her stomach every time she thought of it?
No matter. Levi was a pain and hadn't really hugged her back, so she felt more droopy than excited about it. Maybe it was progress for their relationship, whatever that may be, but she couldn't focus on it at the moment. So instead, she pushed back some hair that was being blown into her face again and started towards the first set of doors she could see to go find her classes.
Holland When she'd left Zayn, he'd been pretty pissed. And did Holland care enough for that? No. So she left him behind with his shitty attitude, this time turning back so that she could find that kid she'd seen on the bus. Slut. Yeah, that was her. She liked to think she was a snake, always on the prowl for her prey, moving slowly, but with determination behind each movement. And from what she saw, she definitely liked what prey she'd seen back on the bus. Fresh, nice, maybe emo meat that she knew she could corrupt. So, boobs readjusted in her tang top and jean shorts pulled higher up so that her butt was outline nicely, she made her way through the crowd and leaned against the sign near the bus stop where the the guy had just gotten off, coughing from the fumes. "Hey there," she said with a flash in her hazel eyes. She tilted her head. "You new? With that Rose girl?" Everytime she spoke, it was like her voice purred. But that was just part of her charm.

Levi Anderson ; ; His steely gaze flickered to the girl quietly, eyes remaining cool. He wasn’t emo as some girls or guys would think; the dark circles under his eyes are what makes them so sunken and narrowed, flicking towards Holland. “Yes,” Levi answered in his monotone voice. Unlike other emo boys, his hair was naturally black, no hair dye and no want to dye it another color. He didn’t wear ‘just black’ in fact his clothing choice was just a coincidence and even then it didn’t look anything in the form of the depressed assholes who draw blood for attention. Levi made his way forward, hardly glancing twice at the girl. He noticed she was pretty, beautiful, and in fact has a great body; yet, Levi wasn’t the guy to acknowledge those things or even show public affection. Looking around, Levi found the crowd rather daunting, and he had no idea where the office was. “Okay, fuck…Office.” He muttered, looking around in disinterest for a less crowded path towards the door.
Marco Scott ; ; One glance at the soccer ball, Marco’s face brightened instantly. “You play? Well, you’re in luck, we just started the soccer unit in gym class.” He motioned for the boy to follow, assuming to show him where the office was. “I play on the soccer team myself, and did track at my old school near the city a few years ago.” Marco snapped as a thought came by, he was really to nice for his own good. “Hey, maybe once you settle in, you can come to soccer practice. We have a pretty good team, so no guarantee you can get on…but still I’m sure the coach would love to meet you.” Marco smiled his bright smile, opening the school door for Harry. He glanced around, noticing a girl staring at him for the briefest moment and offered her his signature smile.
Zoey Palchak ; ; Zoey jumped up and down in the office, offering no words to Tommy, “Zoey and Tommy Palchak, ma’am, reporting for our schedules!” She saluted, putting on the best Levi-expression possible and standing very stoic in her salute. The woman stared at them, blinking once, before shuffling to grab their schedules from a folder. “Oh yes, hmm. Here you go, I assume Jane, Rosalie, Harry, and Levi will be here too?” She asked, receiving an enthusiastic nod and grabby hands from the girl who reached for her schedule. With a sigh, the woman handed them both it, “the classes are not hard to find, but here’s the map just in case.” Zoey grabbed it, saluting again and chirping, “thanks!” Before taking Tommy’s hand and exiting; glancing at her schedule, Zoey squealed a little. “Tommy! I have Honors Chemistry, I do hope they include blowing things up and fire!” She giggled, looking it over at Triginometry, and U.S. History. She got into English 10, because she stunk at English. Something about writing the way you talk wasn’t correct… “What do you have?” She peeked over his shoulder.

Holland Smirking slightly, Holland slipped up next to him, her shoulder brushing against his. "I can take you there," she offered with a sultry smile, twirling in front of him and beginning to walk backwards, motioning to him with her forefinger. "Wouldn't want you getting lost on your first day, now would we?"
Tommy "Zoe!" Tommy shouted in alarm as she pulled him again, running behind her as she dragged him. When their pace was slower, he was able to look down at his own schedule, then compared it to Zoey. With a sigh of relief, he smiled and nudged her. "We have Trig together," he grinned as his eyes scanned over all the rest of his classes. Not interesting in the slightest.
Harry "I was on Varsity at my last school, the only freshman," Harry boasted with a grin, following Marco and thanking him with a nod as he held open the door. "But seriously I'm so siked to see the field and finally get to play. What number are you?" he asked friendly like, moving to get his schedule but turning to Marco as he did.

Marco Scott ; ; “Varsity? That’s cool! We don’t have a big enough school to do varsity teams, but I’m sure that they’ll bring you onto the team with that resume.” Marco tapped his chin in thought, motioning for the office. He gave a light and cheery, “hello!” to the secretary. “I’m number 7,” Marco said simply, smiling slightly. It was an inside joke that he got the ‘saintly’ number with his encouraging attitude. Scratching the side of his face, “I don’t play much, I fumble with the ball more often than not, but they keep me around.”
Levi Anderson ; ; Levi stared at the girl, giving her a glance up and down. “Tch.” He muttered almost to himself. He didn’t want to give in to her actions, already spying people staring at them from across the front lawn. The girl, however, did bring up a good point. He really shouldn’t get lost on his first day. Though he didn’t give a flying fuck about school, Carolyn would be disappointed if he made a bad impression. “Fine.” Levi said after awhile, glancing up in the girl’s eyes for once. His own dulled ones clashing with her seductive charming ones. “Lead the way.”
Zoey Palchak ; ; Zoey giggled, “great! You’ll make math much more fun!” She fist pumped in the air.

Tommy Tommy threw back his head. "Yeah, if I don't fail it this year," he grumbled and moved to walk beside her. "What's your first class of the day? I think school starts soon," he noted, looking at the clock.
Holland Smiling at him a little more, she reached out for his wrist and moved to pull him behind her, right towards the office. "Great, but we should hurry. School starts soon, if that's the kind of thing you're into," she looked over her shoulder with wiggling eyebrows, then smirk again and turned back to the office as they entered the doors. She turned to him before the front desk. "By the way, I'm Holland." Her hazel eyes flickered a little, with something like mischief and want.
Harry "Dude," he hit Marco lightly on the arm. "You should totally come to my house sometime. We could kick the ball around, maybe play a little Call of Duty," he smiled, rosy cheeks and all. Slowly, Harry was feeling himself get happier and happier with this new friend of his being so welcoming. Suddenly, a thought occurred to him. "Wait, I don't know your name. Carolyn would probably be pissed if I came home with a kid and I didn't even know his name," he offered and thanked the lady at the front desk as she gave him his schedule. With a groan, he saw he had Chemistry. We was so not good at Chemistry.

Marco Scott ; ; “Marco.” The boy smiled, “and I’m very kind, but if you walk around the halls calling my name in full expectancy that I will call ‘Polo’ back, I will hit you.” He said sweetly, still smiling. The freckled saint ain’t so saintly. Nodding his head, “hm, I like that. I have many people I would call friends in school, but few of them I would hang around outside classes with.” The freckled boy still smiled, like damn, smiling was a hobby at this rate. “I’d love to hang out, though you’d have to promise not to tell my mother I’m playing Call of Duty…She’d kill me.” He pressed his finger to his lips, a mischievous gleam in his eyes. “I’ll show you to your first class, I have English first and Mr. Stuart is really understanding.”
Levi Anderson ; ; Levi grunted, “Levi.” Was all he said, to both Holland and the secretary who handed him his schedule. Walking past Harry and a freckled kid, Levi didn’t acknowledge them at all. “I, unfortunately, have to attend my first class…” Levi looked down briefly, groaning, “which is gym of all fucking things.” Thankfully he had walked out of the office so as not to be scolded.
Zoey Palchak ; ; Zoey looked down, squealing slightly at her extracurricular activity, “I have culinary class! Oh boy, cooking is fun…not as fun as cooking with chemicals…but still!” They don’t let Zoey cook in the house. Ever. Not because she’s a bad cook (which she is), but nobody trusts her enough to not have something on her hands and she always forgets to wash them unless advised and watched doing so. So, cooking will be fun!

Harry "You talk pretty formal man," he nudged him with a chuckle. "You gotten loosen up," he jumped like a boxer before a match, flicking his arms and on his toes, then laughed at his dramatic reenactment. When he heard the 'Polo' thing, he was laughing so hard he had to bend over to catch his breath. "Oh man," he wiped his eyes. "That's so freaking great. You have to let me do it. Just once," he pursed his lips, trying not to laugh, waiting for the okay to say it. He didn't even acknowledge Marco's offer about walking him to his first class, Harry was dying trying not to laugh before he said Marco's name and hopefully got a response. Tommy Tommy gave her a unsure. "They should not be giving you food, Zoe," he joked, then smiled at her. His eyes trailed over her face, the face her'd memorized both in and out of his dreams. The hopeful gleam in her eye, her knowing and completely genuine smile. He'd loved her since the minute he laid eyes on her. Even if he was only fourteen. Holland "Oh yeah, that's Felch. He tried to feel me up one time, so I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I dropped in to say hello while you got situated," she smiled at him and waved for him to follow her. "The gym's this way." Her long hair swung around her as she walked, hips moving a bit more sexually than they would usually, but that was just Holland's 'charm'.

Levi Anderson ; ; Grumbling, Levi obliged. He didn’t have much of a choice, really, she was offering and he was lost. Simple as that. “If that Zayn bastard is in gym, I hope it’s something where I can kick his ass.” The smaller, and yet taller than Holland, boy grunted. "Wait," Levi paused, eyes widening briefly. "Did you say the gym teacher tried to, what?" He asked cautiously, hoping he heard wrong. Though he remained stoic, his body language made Levi more cautious than not.
Zoey Palchak ; ; Zoey smirked. “But it’s taaaaaasty~” She sang, sticking her tongue out at him. “We better get to class, even though I have no clue where I’m going. But getting lost is always an adventure!”
Marco Scott ; ; Folding his arms, “fine, once. And you can do it after school, we don’t have the same last class and I have to find some way of getting to your house, let alone finding you in the crowd.” The freckled boy smiled, damn it. “Then, if you do it again I will yell your name out in the most romantic voice and run to like they do in a chick flick, embarrassing you to no other end.” Once again, there was the mischievous glint in Marco’s eye as he told Harry. Like this was an everyday occurrence when meeting new people and hearing his name.

Harry Harry let out a low chuckle, throwing his arm over Marco's shoulders and smiling like a fool. "Alright, deal. Now lead me forth brethren!" he said in a very manly voice, lifting his schedule out in front of them so that Marco could lead him to his first class.
Holland Holland just laughed, flapping her hand at him before continuing to walk. "Oh nothing. Just come on before you're late on your first day." She smiled and began to pull him along with her, towards gym.
Tommy Tommy rolled his eyes, but smiled, and went along with Zoey, watching the numbers on the door and trying to match them with his schedule. "Ah, I think this is my first class. And yours..." he looked at her schedule and smacked it with his finger. "Is two doors down," he pointed and then glanced back at her. "I better go. See you after class?" he asked hopefully before nudging her affectionately and moving to go into his first class. To become popular. For his new school year to really begin. And Zoey was only two doors down away.

Zoey Palchak ; ; “Oki doki loki! Bye Tommy!” She waved, running to her class before the bell rang.
Levi Anderson ; ; Levi, knowing he heard correct, narrowed his eyes as he was led to the gym. After a brief introduction between Holland and the gym teacher, Levi immediately kept his distance. Thankfully, the day went by with few hassles. Some snotty teenagers and teachers, but nothing Levi couldn’t handle.
Marco Scott ; ; Marco smiled, leading the way; taking the time to glance at Harry’s schedule. “I’ll see you at gym for soccer, and at math.” He pointed out, pointing to the door finally. “Here’s your class. Have fun!” With that, Marco walked away.

Marco Scott ; ; It was the end of the day for school, Marco having found his way to Harry, “Marco!” Sighing he would shout, “Polo!” back, much to the amusement of the surrounding crowd. What Harry didn’t know, was that Marco would let anyone who ask to do it one time, then again, and again. His threats were empty, but still sometimes he would slap the back of the head to some of his closest who did such to him. Marco followed Harry to the bus, during school Marco had called his mother to call and approve of a bus pass to the Palchak home. She had said “sure!” glad that her son was making friends, and actually spending time with them. By the end of the day he had received a pass, and was allowed to go home with Harry. Needless to say, he was rather excited to be meeting the rest of the Palchak’s. Though, he hadn’t formally talked to any of them—he did have a class with a few others, but he couldn’t quite remember who was who. Smiling, Marco sat next to Harry on the bus, glancing at the road every so often and passing country. He lived in the inner-suburbs of town, but Marco liked the country too. He wasn’t took skilled at ‘country’ things, but he had been horseback riding, and gone swimming and fishing in the ponds, he rides his bike, does sports; but that was as far as his skills went away from the internet, books, and television.
Zoey Palchak ; ; Zoey was sitting next to Tommy again, chuckling about the culinary class and how the pot had over boiled and she had accomplished the presumed impossible—burning water. She wasn't even worried about her homework, already finishing half of it at lunch, and others between classes of boredom.
Levi Anderson ; ; Levi sat in his seat, looking out the window, earbuds in, his knees resting on the seat in front of him in a comfortable position. He had personally sat up front and far away from Zayn, stealing glances back once in awhile to just be cautious. Even though his earbuds were in, Levi wasn’t listening to music. Instead, the young man was listening to Aaron and Farlan in front of him, chatting about their day. Sure, he could of asked them “how was your day?” But that shit’s too easy and very unlike Levi, so he did the normal thing and eavesdropped on the boys. A quiet and content humming in his throat at Aaron explained how the kids were welcoming, and seemed to accept him. One boy, in particular, had stuck by him during recess and class. Aaron, formal as shit and just too kind, had said he would be particulary happy if it wasn’t a one day thing and he could invite the kid—John—over one day after school. Farlan, though he was accepted, had a bit more difficult time opening up and saying “hi”, however, a girl did drag him around and show Farlan the playground during their recess. Being a pushover, Farlan couldn’t say ‘no’, but was probably beet red during the whole ordeal. The girl in question was on the bus, as Farlan pointed in his seat to Aaron at the girl with red hair named Amy. Aaron smiled, saying she looked like a nice girl, but left it at that observation. Sighing, Levi put his head in his hand, trying to hear over the crowd of the bus to what Rose and Jane had done. Hoping that the other two had it easy for their first day of school. Yet his glazed eyes and even expression wouldn’t show such a thing about his constant vigilance.

Harry Ecstatic about Marco coming home with him, Harry was in a great mood, sitting beside his new friend on the bus. He's introduced all his siblings to him when they passed by the second row into the bus, naming them off and saying, "This is Marco! Not to be mistaken as Polo," with a grin each time. Most siblings didn't care, and Jane was just quiet as always, offering a shy smile. Rose was the last one on the bus and she gave Marco a friendly smile. "Friends? On the first day? You didn't have any friends after a whole year at Meadow View," she laughed about their old school experiences, taking a seat behind the two boys by herself as Jane continued to the back of the bus again. After everything Harry had heard about happening that morning, he knew Rose was keeping her distance from the back, and he was curious as to why Jane wasn't. Harry grumbled, embarrassed. "I had my teammates." "Sometimes," Rose joked and Harry's cheeks turned a little red, turning back around in his seat and motioning to Marco again. "She's just being Rose. I had friends, I promise I'm not some socially awkward weirdo," he rolled his eyes and flipped Rose the finger from behind his head. She laughed and smacked the finger back forward. Rose Now seated, Rose felt a pair of eyes on the back of her head, but didn't look to see who it was. Instead, she just began to rant to Jane about her day. "There's this really hot guy in my World Lit. class and he asked me to borrow my eraser. I'd say that's progress," she studied her nails a little and looked over at Jane. "And did you see that other guy in our gym class? He looked just like Zac Efron. I should've paid more attention during role so I could've heard his name," she pouted a little and pulled out her phone to search the internet, not bothering to ask Jane about her day because she knew she wouldn't answer. Deep down, Rose was still distracted by the igniting touch that Levi had given her when she'd hugged him. The remembrance of the feeling of his body against hers made it hard to focus all that day, and she hated it. She did. Levi was her foster brother for God's sake. She couldn't be distracted by him in any way, especially romantically. It hadn't even been a mutual hug; with Levi, nothing was ever mutual in general. But still, Rose's thoughts were jumbled with him, the smell of his cologne/smell she'd smelt before, but now stuck in her nose permanently it seemed all day long. For a second, she was curious, and she turned to see what Levi was doing and paused when she realized he was looking at her. Her stomach even did a flip flop motion inside of her and she just blinked her blue eyes his way, not really thinking, not knowing what to do but smile a little at his vacant expression.Tommy
Tommy laughed at Zoey, scribbling down some answers to a math problem. "How does one burn water, exactly?" he chuckled and poked her nose with his finger, to show he was teasing, then went back to work, glancing at her from the corner of his eye. His school day had consisted of him trying to befriend the popular guys, the athletic guys, and the attractive ones. But it was his first day and most of the classes were spent quiet so he had no chances to talk to most of them. He had befriended a girl, surprisingly, and she seemed pretty pretty and popular, so he was thinking that the next day he'd sit with her at lunch, maybe meet all of her friends, and starting getting in with 'in crowd'.

Zoey Palchak ; ; “I dunno!” Zoey giggled, turning to see they were winding down their road towards their house where the Palchak kids, and Marco—he seemed really cool, even smiled at Levi! Nobody has done that before!—where Carolyn, Annie, and Mei would be waiting with snacks and to ask them about their day.
Marco Scott ; ; Laughing, Marco scratched his head while turning slightly to face Rose better in the seat and Harry. “It’s okay, I always get terrified in large crowds. I’m generally good around individual people, but the more there are the more of a pushover I become.” Marco smiled, like it was no bog deal to be nervous around people. “Besides, anyone who wouldn’t want to talk to you guys obviously don’t want any interesting adventures!” Ah, ever optimistic Marco.
Levi Anderson ; ; Levi’s eyes snapped back to the front as the bus approached to a stop, he stood up before the wheels could stop moving and made his way to the front—the bus driver giving him an unappreciative and warning grunt, “wait until the bus stops, kid.”—and hopping off the bus towards the house. It was usual school routine, Levi would be the first in the house and kick off his shoes, he would say his private greeting to Carolyn, Annie, and Mei before the other kids followed; and disappeared into his room with a healthy snack usually prepared by his foster mother. Today was no different, the only coherent noise Levi gave to Carolyn about his day was, “it was okay.” Gripping his backpack, Levi dashed up the stairs. A normal teenager might have a dirty, cluttered room, but growing up with little belongings his room was sparce. Tidy. His desk was set up just how he liked, desk lamp, supplies, and room to place his homework and textbooks neatly. His bed was made every morning by himself, a bookshelf of personal books of Levi’s were in the corner, his closet and dresser was full of clothes. The few items he had were placed in their Levi-designated place. His ipod was set on his desk for listening to when working, his book bag went by the door once emptied of its necessary contents. Steely gray eyes wandered the room, no clothes on the floor but in the hamper, he had to make sure it was clean before Levi finally set his phone from his pocket to his desk. Leaving it, Levi went to refresh himself after school and the snack; re-brushing his teeth, combing his hair, and putting on a much more comfortable shirt and hoodie. When that was done, ignoring the world, Levi pulled The Catcher in the Rye from his bookshelf and plopped in his spinning desk chair. Turning around a couple of times, his feet propped on the desk to his folded page and resume the adventure of Holden Caulfield. It wouldn't be a few paragraphs in that Carolyn would pound at his door and say he should at least read or do homework outside—she knew Levi too well—and to keep an eye on the boys and others as they play and she prepared for dinner. Little did he know they had guests, more than the Freckled Kid, which they were preparing for. Grumbling, Levi emerged and wandered down the stairs and plopped into a lawn chair on the back porch. Watching as Marco and Harry would play soccer while the light is still in the sky, Aaron and Farlan eventually asking to play too. Zoey was off 'catching frogs' or doing something, Jane was probably helping Carolyn, and once Annie saw him she had dashed and grabbed her book—Warriors, Into the Wild and was reading it with an expression similar to the unfriendly scowl Levi wore.
